Good day, fellow scientists! ~OuroborosCobra here again, bringing this weeks updates for the club.


Club Art Submissions

First off, I'd like to start a discussion with the club membership on a new idea. Well, not new, really something that the other clubs are already doing. Art submissions! I think it is time for the Science Club to use its gallery to feature art submitted by the membership.

I think the easiest way to do this is for members to send a note with what art they want to submit. Include a link to your piece in the note. Easy as pie.

What type of art would you like to see featured? There are some things that are easy and makes sense for Science, such as astrophotography, even nature photos and the like. What are some of your ideas? Are you planning on making any submissions? Pipe up, folks! It's your club, after all.

Hello all. I was wondering if there was any particular group on this site involved with the sciences...And apparently there is.

I'm working on a degree in chemistry/metallurgy at present, how about the rest of you?

Economics is sort of an evil witchdoctor voodoo magic to people more interested in hard sciences like physics and biology. But go for it. If it's not political, it might as well fit here as being roughly scientific/mathematical. :thumbsup:
